Empire State Building inches
The Empire State Building is 1,453 feet, 8 9/16th inches tall to the top of the lightning rod.
This is 17,444 and 9/16th inches tall.
That means the Empire State Building is more than 1/4 of a mile high. One fourth of a mile is 1,320 feet.
